Permanent Table for Children, Adolescents and Youth

The Permanent Table of Children, Adolescents and Youth is a mechanism promoted by the Office of the Human Rights Defender, and seeks to promote the participation of representatives from sectors of civil society and public institutions. It is coordinated by the Office of the Deputy Attorney General for the Defense of the Rights of Children and Youth and is made up of representatives from 10 organizations. It deals with topics such as the analysis of the social context of childhood, adolescence and youth. In addition, it focuses on the role played by the Salvadoran Institute for the Integral Development of Children and Adolescents, elaborate recommendations and makes public pronouncements on the progress in the installation of the National System for the Protection of Children and Adolescents.
