Tourism Hackathon 2020
The 2020 Tourism Hackathon is an initiative of the Costa Rican Tourism Institute and the Central American Institute of Business Administration, which seeks to develop digital solutions for the tourism sector, particularly in the areas Sarapiquí, Tamarindo and Turrialba. The hackathon takes place at the headquarters of Lead University, in Pavas, Rohrmoser, and individuals with diverse profiles are invited to participate. The winning team developed an app that displays a route of the main tourist destinations in Turrialba, which also promotes local businesses.
