Urban Platform
Plataforma Urbana (lit. Urban Platform) is a digital platform driven by members of civil society which seeks to inform citizens about the main urban problems so they can contribute in a better way to the urban development of their respective environments. The platform is based on the idea that a city must value the public space and the identity of its neighborhoods, promote contact between its citizens, respect its history and look forward to the future. The promoters of this initiative stress that during the first 10 years of Plataforma Urbana, the portal has contributed to making cities more human. The trajectory of this initiative has become a tool of civil society participation that has spread across much of Latin America.
