Environmental Advisory Commissions
The National, Provincial, County and District Environmental Advisory Commissions are spaces for citizen participation where local government, community organizations, companies and producers come together to analyze environmental issues and make observations, recommendations and proposals to the Regional Directorates of the Ministry of Environment. The Commissions incorporate citizens in environmental management, promote information and negotiation and strengthen civic-environmental education processes.
