Advisory Council for the Growth of Santa Fe

The Advisory Council is a mechanism created by the government of Santa Fe to provide a space for the participation of citizens who are outside the governmental structure, generating a space for them to give their opinions, offer their advice and contribute their specific knowledge to the different areas of management. The Council is directly elected by the Governor, and can meet in different places within the Province. Among its powers, it is responsible for: participating in the design of the provincial and regional strategic plan, ruling on issues raised by officials, and requesting reports from any of the government branches. It is made up of 12 citizen members, taking into account their experience and dedication, and they last in their function until they have fulfilled the designated mandate.
