Youth Public Hearings
The Youth Public Hearings are a space for citizen participation for adolescents and young people aged 16 to 24 years in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. Here, young people are offered a participation space as full citizens, in which they can express their opinions and formulate petitions, as well as submit proposals aimed at contributing to the generation of public policies. The Public Hearings are mandatory, given that the Municipal Council is the convening authority. A representative of this body is appointed, who coordinates the work process. The topics to be discussed at the Youth Public Hearing are defined jointly by the Deliberative Council, representatives of civil society organizations and youth organizations.
