Youth Participatory Budget of San Salvador
The Youth Participatory Budget of San Salvador is a citizen participation tool for young people between 15 and 25 years old. The Municipality of San Salvador has had a participatory budget since 2000. However, as of 2017 it implemented the youth participatory budget so that adolescents can present ideas to be allocated budget. Young people can submit projects in all areas except for public works development.
