Citizen Observatory to the Court of Accounts of the Republic
The Citizen Observatory to the Court of Accounts of the Republic is a joint effort of the Salvadoran Foundation for Economic and Social Development (FUSADES), the Association Connection Development of El Salvador, and the Association Transparency, Social Control and Open Data (TRACODA). This initiative was created with the objective of monitoring the activities of the Court of Accounts of the Republic, which is the institution in charge of auditing the Public Treasury. The Observatory has three components for its operation: a web platform to provide open data and reports, awareness campaigns and dissemination of results, and training workshops for the exercise of citizen comptrollership.

Frequency: how often does the innovation take place: only once, sporadically, or is it permanent or regular?
Mode of Selection of Participants: is the innovation open to all participants, access is restricted to some kind of condition, or both methods apply?
Type of participants: those who participate are individual citizens, civil society organizations, private stakeholders or a combination of those?
Decisiveness: does the innovation takes binding, non-binding or no decision at all?
Co-governance: is there involvement of the government in the process or not?
