Citizen Datathon
Citizen Datathon is an initiative of Grupo Faro that aims to encourage citizen participation in activities related to the collection of data on different community issues and problems. During the Datathons, citizens can participate in data collection, either electronically through online forms or through face-to-face surveys. With the data collected and generated by citizens, social problems are identified to improve decision making in the implementation of public programs. To date, several Datathons have been held in the cities of: Quito, Portoviejo, Loja, Tena, Ambato and Latacunga; where different topics such as urban mobility, security and public spaces were addressed.
