Ethical Pact

Ethical Pact is an initiative of the NGO "Citizen Participation Corporation Ecuador" which aims to promote citizen participation and social dialogue. Within the framework of this initiative, numerous meetings and dialogue workshops were organized where the main issues were debated and agreed upon with the objective of strengthening democracy in the country. More than 39 civil society organizations participated in this deliberative process, as well as social leaders and citizens. The participatory process was implemented in 10 cities in the country from 2014 to 2016. Finally, as a result of this initiative, the Citizen Agenda was published and presented to electoral candidates and political actors.
