Popular Consultation of La Manga Del Cura
The Popular Consultation that took place in the municipality of La Manga del Cura sought to put to vote the question about which province should said municipality belong to. The Consultation was framed within the provisions of the Ecuadorian Constitution of 2008. More than 15 000 people took part, of which 66% of the votes decided on the province of Manabi, instead of Guayas.
