Citizen Watch: Sustainable Development Goals
This digital project was created in 2019 by Citibeats with the purpose of collecting and analyzing opinions posted by citizens on social media, in relation to each one of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals set for 2030. The ultimate aim of the project is to inform public agencies about the needs and priorities voiced by citizens in their social media publications, so policy solutions can be more responsive to people?s experiences. The platform has collected and analyzed information from more than 10 countries from Latin America and the Caribbean, including the Dominican Republic.
