Citibeats: COVID-19
The ?Covid19 Civiclytics? is an observatory based on the analysis of social media content which aim at identifying citizen?s needs and opinions during the COVID19 epidemic, in order to inform public-sector decision-makers. The project was launched in 2020 by the Inter American Development Bank (IAB) and the private company Citibeats, and has been implemented for 28 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, including the Dominican Republic. Besides the information they gather from people?s contributions to social media, any citizen from the region can participate in the project by sharing their concerns and needs directly in the project?s website.
