National Council for Environment and Natural Resources
The National Council of Environment and Natural Resources is a collegiate body intended to function in the orbit of the Ministry of the same name. Its institutional design includes inter-ministerial and multispectral representation which includes that of NGOs linked with environmental themes, peasant organizations, universities and the business sector. It has the power to develop binding political guidelines. As of April 2016 there was no evidence of its implementation.
