Public Hearings of the National Congress
The Public Hearings of the National Congress are public meetings summoned by the Bicameral Commission or by each of the Chambers of the National Congress, to hear the opinion and gather contributions from the citizens regarding specific bills. Any citizen can participate, with the condition that they send their contribution beforehand in writing, which will then be presented orally on the day of the Public Views. This method has been used, for example, for the reform of the Law on Political Parties and for the approval of the National Development Strategy 2030.
