Good Practices and Strategies for Violence Prevention of Northern Region
Good Practices and Strategies for Violence Prevention in three cantons of Costa Rica's northern borders with Nicaragua is a project executed by the NGO "FUNPADEM" within the framework of the Info-Segura Project, which is funded by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The general goal of this initiative is to identify the good practices of violence prevention that stakeholders of the border cantons (Upala, Los Chiles and San Carlos) develop in cooperation with Nicaraguan partners, promoting a process of dialogue that allows the exchange of positive experiences and the formulation of Local Strategies for Violence Prevention. This process is carried out with the participation of the community, which attends the working sessions where the results of the research are discussed.
