I, Mayor
Yo Alcalde (lit. I, Mayor) is an app implemented in 2016 by the Municipality of Curridabat so that neighbors can submit reports related to problems that affect the neighborhood. By the end of 2016 this application already had 250 users who had made more than 2000 reports. On the basis of the information accumulated by the Municipality through this tool, the authorities decided to implement a specific public policy with municipal personnel and an assigned budget for the care and maintenance of streets and sidewalks.
