Citizen Oversight "It Gives You Peace" (Span. Veeduría Ciudadana Te Da Paz)
The Citizen Oversight It Gives You Peace (Span. Te Da Paz) is a joint initiative of educational institutions and civil society organizations, with the support of the European Union. Its purpose is to monitor, together with the communities, the implementation of the peace agreements in the regions of Alto Patía, Norte del Cauca, and Sur del Valle, especially the Program for Development with a Territorial Approach (PDET, acronym in Spanish). The organizing institutions also carry out training activities for citizens and local organizations, enabling them to contribute with monitoring tasks. The Oversight Body has an online portal where monitoring reports can be downloaded.
