Colombia BuysEfficiently - Covid-19
The web portal "Colombia Buys Efficiently", made available by the presidency through the National Planning Department, aims to strengthen transparency and accountability by offering citizens several tools to observe calls for public tenders and monitor contracts for purchases and provision of services concluded by the State. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Colombian government created a specific portal where contracts for supplies and purchases made to combat the effects of the pandemic can be followed in real time. Likewise, the portal offers channels to report irregularities and process public information requests.
