Montelibano Development Plan 2020-2023
The Municipal Development Plan is a planning and management tool provided for in Colombian legislation, which allows localities to insert themselves into the development axes of the regional plans and the national plan. In the town of Montelíbano, during 2020, concertation meetings were convened with sectors of civil society, unions, academia, and representatives of the cooperation agency USAID, with the aim of consulting the content for the local development plan for the next 4 years. The meetings started in February; However, with the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, they were moved to continue virtually. Likewise, considerations regarding the management of the pandemic and its effects in the 2020-2023 cycle were added to the resulting plan.
