LabCívico - Colombia

LabCívico is an initiative of the Intelligent Citizen Foundation, born in 2015 with the purpose of creating citizen collaboration networks through face-to-face workshops in which technological and communication tools are used. The initiative is characterized by the possibility that participants can use all the digital tools as they are available in open format and can be downloaded from their GitHub account. Based on the projects created in each LabCívico, advocacy plans are constructed to exert pressure for the improvement of public policies. In Colombia, the "LabCívico Mesa del pacto por la calidad del Aire en Bogotá" was implemented. Similarly, LabCívicos have been developed in Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama and Peru.
