Say it and then do it. Technology for change

Say it and then do it, is an initiative aimed at strengthening citizen participation at the local level. It was born in 2017 with the purpose of linking technology and social innovation to the interests of young people, with a view to building peace and achieving sustainable development goals. The project is headed by Movilizatorio, and has the support of the United Nations Development Program and the Swedish Embassy in Colombia. It began with an open call for young people between 18 and 30 years old in Apartadó, Florencia and Montería, and the next step was to hold three camps to identify joint actions. In the initial phase of the project, 10 proposals were received, four of which were implemented: Colidérate; With employment we go for you; Everyone to the classroom; and Voices of my neighborhood. Subsequently, in 2018 the coverage of the project was extended to the regions of Córdoba and Urabá.

Type of participants: those who participate are individual citizens, civil society organizations, private stakeholders or a combination of those?
