Virtual Ideathon Girls STEAM Chile
The Virtual Ideathon Girls STEAM Chile is an initiative of the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications, the Ministry of Education and Social Development and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Girls between the ages of 10 and 18 participate in the event, proposing innovative ideas to address a need in their community through the use of technology. The ideas had to be linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The Ideathon seeks to introduce girls to the use and exploitation of information and communication technologies (ICTs).
