Citizen Council for Public Safety
The Citizen Council for Public Safety is a body that advises the Mayor's Office of Antofagasta on security policies, so that the latter takes into account the perspectives and experiences of citizens while formulating policies. The Council is made up of 12 representatives of civil society organizations and the private sector, who have an interest in the issue. The Council, in turn, conducted surveys to deepen their knowledge of the perceptions of Antofagasta' s residents.
