I express my opinion, it is my right

"Yo opino, es mi derecho" is a program developed by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Development of Chile, with support of other government agencies and international organizations. Three editions of the program were held, one per year between 2015 and 2017. It is a participatory mechanism in which children and teenagers offer their perspectives on issues of their interest aiming at the development of better education and childhood policies. These debates, in addition to seeking to developing civic behavior, shall be carried out in accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to which the country has committed. Participation is carried out in the classrooms by means of a pre-established methodology. Schools that wish to participate in the program register in it voluntarily.
