Participatory Workshops of the Promueve Program
The Participatory Workshops of the Promotes Program (Span. Programa Promueve) are a joint initiative of the Municipality of Salamanca, Minera Los Pelambres and Ciudad Emergente Foundation. The first citizen workshops were held during 2018, with the purpose of formulating projects that improve citizen coexistence and participation in the municipality. Due to the health emergency triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, the workshops were reconvened in 2020, so that the community could adapt the projects in light of the new situation.

Mode of Selection of Participants: is the innovation open to all participants, access is restricted to some kind of condition, or both methods apply?
Type of participants: those who participate are individual citizens, civil society organizations, private stakeholders or a combination of those?
