Is There Agreement?
Is There Agreement? is a digital platform promoted by the Ciudadano Inteligente (lit. Smart Citizen) Foundation whose purpose is to make information available to the general public related to the state of the situation of some of the main debates on the Chilean public agenda. These include: The Reform to the Educational System, the Reform to the Binominal System and the Reform of the Financing of Politics This portal also promotes the online participation by citizens through the contribution of proposals, ideas and opinions linked to the various reforms in progress.
Institutional design
Formalization: is the innovation embedded in the constitution or legislation, in an administrative act, or not formalized at all?
Frequency: how often does the innovation take place: only once, sporadically, or is it permanent or regular?
Mode of Selection of Participants: is the innovation open to all participants, access is restricted to some kind of condition, or both methods apply?
Type of participants: those who participate are individual citizens, civil society organizations, private stakeholders or a combination of those?
Decisiveness: does the innovation takes binding, non-binding or no decision at all?
