Political parties
Political parties is a digital platform developed in 2016 by the Ciudadano Inteligente (lit. Smart Citizen) Foundation, whose purpose is to increase the transparency of political parties, as well as their participation and their degree of openness, following the conviction that this will improve democracy. The following are some of the possibilities offered by the platform: a) Request for a meeting with leaders of political parties, b) Information on the links and interests of political parties, c) Information on the historical sanctions of political parties, D) Information on the latest decisions of political parties. At present, 9 political parties are part of the initiative.
Institutional design
Formalization: is the innovation embedded in the constitution or legislation, in an administrative act, or not formalized at all?
Frequency: how often does the innovation take place: only once, sporadically, or is it permanent or regular?
Mode of Selection of Participants: is the innovation open to all participants, access is restricted to some kind of condition, or both methods apply?
Type of participants: those who participate are individual citizens, civil society organizations, private stakeholders or a combination of those?
Decisiveness: does the innovation takes binding, non-binding or no decision at all?
Co-governance: is there involvement of the government in the process or not?
