#SalvemosElParqueIntercomunal
#SalvemosElParqueIntercomunal (lit. Save the Intermunicipal Park) is an initiative promoted by a group of neighbors organized by the Neighborhood Coordination of La Reina with the aim of stopping the private use of the green space Padre Hurtado Park. During July 4 and September 21, 2016, the initiative collected 3650 signatures, which were delivered on Friday, September 23 by the Neighborhood Coordination of La Reina to the Ministry of the Environment. Through this initiative, citizens rejected the concession of this green space, emphasizing that the pollution levels of Santiago de Chile require green spaces such as this park.
