Caixa 1 App
The "Caja 1" application (lit. Checkout 1) was developed by the Regional Electoral Court of the State of Mato Grosso during the 2018 elections to combat corruption and illegitimate financing of electoral campaigns. Through the application, citizens can monitor campaign activities in their cities, being able to record images, videos and audios that account for the potential expenses incurred. These files are automatically sent to the Electoral Tribunal as reports. In turn, the application shows the financing data of all local and state candidates and the campaign spending limit that they should respect.
