I Vote
Eu Voto (lit. I Vote) is a digital tool developed in 2015 by Open Knowledge Brasil in collaboration with the Avina Foundation. The goal of the platform is to provide - in a transparent way - a means of participation for citizens to express their agreement or disagreement with the bills that are being discussed in the Municipality of Sao Paulo. So far (2017), the platform allows users to express their opinion about 16 bill initiatives, and in addition, 6 other projects which have already expired. About 1,200 people have used this platform. Any citizen can participate and express their opinion by voting for or against the bill.
Institutional design
