Democracy Map
Mapa da Democracia was a platform created in 2016 during former President Dilma Rousseff's process of Impeachment. Created by a coalition of civil society organizations and political parties against the impeachment process called "Comitê Pró-Democracia do Congresso Nacional" the platform gathered information on different congressperson?s positions regarding the process, in opposition to the information displayed by the opposite movement "Vem pra Rua" and their platform "Mapa do Impeachment". Mapa da Democracia also provided citizens with contact information on the congresspersons and encouraged contacting them, especially the undecided. Mapa da Democracia also ran a countdown on the day of the final voting and information supporting former President Dilma Rousseff and on the overall illegality of the process.
