Impeachment Map
Mapa do Impeachment was a platform created in 2016 during former President Dilma Rousseff's process of Impeachment. Created by the civil society pro-impeachment movement "Vem pra Rua" the main goal of the platform was to organize information on Congressperson?s positions regarding the impeachment, income declarations and campaign donations. After gathering publicly available information from public databases and social media, the politicians would be classified as in favor, against or undecided about the impeachment. Each profile also had the congressperson?s main contact information, such as e-mail and social network, and citizens were encouraged to contact them either to support their pro impeachment position or the opposite. Citizens could also share the profiles on social network.
