Environmental citizenship and climate change: Initiatives for environmental governance in Kanata region
The project "Environmental citizenship and climate change: Initiatives for environmental governance in the Kanata region" is an initiative of Ciudadanía Bolivia, supported by the organisation Bread for the World. It is a mechanism through which citizens and representatives of civil society organisations monitor compliance with current environmental regulations in Kanata, propose initiatives to complement or improve these regulations, and participate in the implementation of actions to protect the environment.
Institutional design
Formalization: is the innovation embedded in the constitution or legislation, in an administrative act, or not formalized at all?
Frequency: how often does the innovation take place: only once, sporadically, or is it permanent or regular?
Mode of Selection of Participants: is the innovation open to all participants, access is restricted to some kind of condition, or both methods apply?
