National Consultation of Venezuela 2020
The National Consultation of Venezuela 2020 was organized as a response to the legislative elections held on December 6, where the official party had a questionable electoral victory after the disqualification of the opposition parties, who were unable to participate in the electoral process. The Consultation was called by the National Assembly and the internal government of Juan Guaidó, and was held between December 7 and 12. During the consultation, citizens were asked their position regarding the validity of the parliamentary elections of the previous day, and regarding the holding of new presidential and parliamentary elections. 6.4 million Venezuelans voted in the consultation. Citizens were able to vote within the country or from abroad.
