Caracas Cómo Vamos
Caracas Cómo Vamos (lit. Caracas, How are We Doing) is an initiative of the El Nacional newspaper, together with the Universidad Católica Andrés Bellos, the Cesap Social Group, and the Miguel Otero Silva Foundation, whose objective is to open a space for citizen monitoring of the policies of the city of Caracas. To this end, monitoring is established based on quality of life indicators in different areas. The Council of Neighbors participates in the elaboration of these indicators and the results are debated in forums open to the citizens. The innovation follows the How are We Doing model initiated in Bogotá, which has spread throughout Latin America in the How are We Doing Network of Cities.
