Open Data Working Group
The Open Data Working Group was created by the Agency for Electronic Government and Information and Knowledge Society (AGESIC) through Resolution 005/2016 within the framework of the National Open Data Strategy. The objective of this committee is to generate a collaborative work environment between government, civil society and academia in the field of open data, in order to promote the transparency of public acts. Representatives from various Ministries, the Faculty of Engineering (FING), the Open Government Network (REDGA), and the Municipalities participate, and AGESIC operates as coordinating agent of the space. Its general objectives are to coordinate action on open data and carry out promotional and dissemination activities.
Institutional design
Formalization: is the innovation embedded in the constitution or legislation, in an administrative act, or not formalized at all?
Frequency: how often does the innovation take place: only once, sporadically, or is it permanent or regular?
Mode of Selection of Participants: is the innovation open to all participants, access is restricted to some kind of condition, or both methods apply?
Type of participants: those who participate are individual citizens, civil society organizations, private stakeholders or a combination of those?
Decisiveness: does the innovation takes binding, non-binding or no decision at all?
Co-governance: is there involvement of the government in the process or not?
