Hackathon Tourism 2019
The Hackathon Tourism 2019 was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, with support from other government institutions and national universities. The purpose of the hackathon is that the participants develop technological solutions to improve the experience of, on the one hand, foreign tourists traveling on their own, and, on the other hand, Peruvian tourists traveling around the country with their families. Those interested in participating in the hackathon had to register in teams of three to five participants, including at least one student or professional in tourism or hospitality, one student or professional in programming and one student or professional in web design.
Institutional design

Mode of Selection of Participants: is the innovation open to all participants, access is restricted to some kind of condition, or both methods apply?

Decisiveness: does the innovation takes binding, non-binding or no decision at all?
Co-governance: is there involvement of the government in the process or not?
