COVID-19 Virtual Youth Assembly
The Municipality of Lima and the Commission of Teenager Women Leaders of Metropolitan Lima organized a virtual dialogue table where more than 500 teenagers from the metropolitan area of Lima participated. The objective of the virtual dialogue table was to create a space for deliberation where teenager leaders could express their ideas about the repercussions that the COVID-19 has left in their lives. The exercise sought to identify the concerns that the pandemic has brought to Lima's girls and young women in terms of health but also regarding educational, social and economic issues. The participants were also able to put forward their ideas on how to improve the crisis situation that the pandemic has left behind through concrete proposals.
