It's my data
The initiative Son Mis Datos (lit. It´s My Data) is an online tool of the civil association Hiperderecho, designed to assist users free of charge in the process of filling out and sending a Request for Access to Personal Data in Peru. The campaign was launched in 2019 to provide Peruvian citizens with a tool to facilitate the exercise of their rights as codified in the Data Protection Act. To this end, users may fill out a request for access, ratification, cancellation or opposition regarding how said database owner uses their personal information. The digital tool allows users to know how third parties use their personal information and to control such use.

Mode of Selection of Participants: is the innovation open to all participants, access is restricted to some kind of condition, or both methods apply?
Type of participants: those who participate are individual citizens, civil society organizations, private stakeholders or a combination of those?
Decisiveness: does the innovation takes binding, non-binding or no decision at all?
