Consultation on the SMV Norms
On May 25 of 2020, the Peruvian Authority of the Stock Market (SMV) published an open online consultation on the new SMV norms on the convening and holding of shareholders' meetings, associates' meetings, committees and other bodies of the companies to which the SMV grants authorization to operate. The consultation remained open for four days, when interested parts and common citizens could send their insights, concerns and recommendations on the issue. The consultation concluded with the approval and publication of the norms on June 19, 2020.
