Multisectorial Commission for Indigenous languages, Oral Tradition and Interculturalism
The Multisectoral Commission for Indigenous languages, Oral Tradition and Interculturalism was a body formed by supreme decree of Peru?s Executive, in specific the Ministry of Culture, in September of 2016. The commission was formed to develop the National Policy for Indigenous languages, Oral Tradition and Interculturalism which main objective is to promote ethnic, cultural and linguistic diversity in Peru and the development of equal opportunities for members of this communities. Aside from the 14 representatives of various pertinent Ministries, the Commission included 2 representatives of organizations from indigenous communities. The National Policy for Indigenous languages, Oral Tradition and Interculturalism was published on August 2017.
