Forum on the participation of Afro-descendants in the development of Panama
The forum on the participation of Afro-descendants in the development of Panama was a dialogue organized by the Ministry of Government of Panama, the United Nations and the National Secretariat for the Development of Afro-Panamanians, which took place in August 2019 within the framework of the fair International Book Fair. The purpose of the meeting was to exchange perspectives regarding the contribution of people of African descent in the development of Panama and the role that the country can play in the final stage of the International Decade for People of African Descent.
