Participating in the Development of my Municipality
The 'Participating in the Development of my Municipality' project seeks to develop and implement a national model to ensure citizen participation in each phase of planning, monitoring and evaluation of municipal investments. The main objective is to strengthen local governments in the transparent planning and management of the resources they will receive as a result of fiscal decentralization, while ensuring the constant participation of citizens in the entire municipal investment process. At the end of the project, each municipality will have a 2016 Investment Plan and the city halls themselves will be in charge of adapting the model to its local context and implementing the Plan.
