National Vision 2020
The National Vision 2020 was an exercise to better understand the vision of civil society and the participating political parties with regards to a long term projection for Panama. A central proposal of the projection was to raise the living standards of all its citizens and improve the country's productivity indexes. The National Vision 2020 document was discussed with 1500 civil society leaders across all provinces and indigenous districts of the country, accomplished through participatory workshops and popular communication products; the events became a meeting point for civil society.
