Center for the Autonomy and Development of Indigenous Peoples
The Center for the Autonomy and Development of Indigenous Peoples is a research and citizen oversight center which focuses on the analysis of social phenomena and public policies directly related to indigenous territories and citizens in Nicaragua. The work of the researchers who participate in the Center is not only to make visible and denounce breaches in the rights of indigenous people, but also to shape the agenda for policy-making, and to strengthen the institutional capacities for implementing already existing policies.
