City Report

City Report is an app developed by the Federal Institute of Government of the Catholic University of Córdoba and the Citizen Network Our Cordoba (Span. Red Ciudadana Nuestra Córdoba), with support from the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF). The app allows citizens to report on the state of streets, lighting, traffic, bicycle lanes, trees, dumps, waste collection, sewage, transportation, squares and green areas; as well as to report on issues related to health care centers, municipal schools, mechanisms to promote solidarity economy, neighborhood participation boards and the functioning of the participatory budget. Citizens may, if they so wish, make anonymous reports and/or accompany their reports with photographs.

Formalization: is the innovation embedded in the constitution or legislation, in an administrative act, or not formalized at all?

Frequency: how often does the innovation take place: only once, sporadically, or is it permanent or regular?

Mode of Selection of Participants: is the innovation open to all participants, access is restricted to some kind of condition, or both methods apply?

Type of participants: those who participate are individual citizens, civil society organizations, private stakeholders or a combination of those?

Decisiveness: does the innovation takes binding, non-binding or no decision at all?
