City and Word CDMX
City and Word is an initiative implemented by the Ministry of Social Development of Mexico City with the objective of involving citizens in the process of improving the urban image of their communities. With this objective, citizens are invited to choose -from a catalog of 100 designs- the design that best represents the values of their community to be painted on the public space through murals. This program focuses on those communities and neighborhoods with low social development and crime rates in order to improve public life.
