Gender Legislative Agenda 2019
The Gender Legislative Agenda 2019 was the result of a deliberative process among different collectives, associations and women's networks in the State of Veracruz with the aim of guaranteeing the full and free exercise of women's rights. Through forums and citizen meetings, where 500 women participated, the topics to be included in the Agenda were debated and delimited. In December 2018, the draft of the Agenda was presented to the Commission for Gender Equality of the Congress of the State of Veracruz for review, analysis, as well as for the exchange of ideas and proposals. The final version of the Agenda was formally presented to Congress in May 2019. During 2020, the Congress organized a virtual roundtable with the participation of civil society representatives to follow up on the actions implemented.
