Democracy Without Poverty
Democracy Without Poverty is an initiative of " Citizen Action Against Poverty", a group of 60 civil society organizations that aims to reduce inequality and poverty in Mexico. Democracy Without Poverty was created to avoid the purchase or coercion of votes during the 2018 electoral process. This platform aims to avoid the electoral use of social programs through the monitoring of citizen reports. Citizens who have witnessed fraudulent vote buying practices or misuse of social programs can make an anonymous report through the initiative's platform.
